A Taste of Soul – A Night of Fire

I recently attended A Taste of Soul – A Night of Fire, a mid-year cook-off experience thoughtfully organized by Disebo Ramonyalioa. It brought together people from different walks of life to connect through something deeply human — preparing and sharing food.
What stood out wasn’t just the dishes we created, but the conversations around the table and the sense of shared purpose. I also had the chance to meet Maiyo Febi in person after connecting here on LinkedIn — a reminder of the value of turning digital networks into real-world relationships.
As we cooked and broke the bread together, I was reminded of a few questions worth revisiting often:
Are you sitting at tables that bring clarity, or confusion?
Are your conversations helping you grow, or pulling you down?
If your future self could speak to you now, would they thank you for the people you choose to learn from today?
In leadership, your circle isn’t just company — it’s direction.
Choose it wisely. Challenge yourself often.
