Let's Break Bread hosted the Puma Energy team for a cook off the other day. They had descended from about 15 countries in different parts of our beautiful continent and beyond for a week's conference.
Choosing us to get the team (meeting each other as a group for the first time) to bond, collaborate and have fun was really an honour.
They asked us to curate a menu that represented this rich diversity and we proudly did so!
Our coach extra ordinaire Maiyo Febi did what she does best.... observing (read "spying") the team in the kitchen as they interacted with each other and navigated the recipes and facilitates conversations with her rich insights.
The banter, the laughs, the negotiations around who needs what ingredient more, creative borrowing of ingredients and tools, and and and.... are all the order of the day and make the experience even richer and more fun!
The feedback was overwhelming... they were all pleasantly surprised because they didn't know what to expect.
They walked away with newly formed bonds and an appreciation of each other and that "we each have something special we bring to the team"...
